The Liverpool Book Club hosts one-off special literary events with popular authors in iconic Liverpool venues, including Sefton Park Palm House and The Athenaeum.
A Message from Liverpool Book Club host Ian Skillicorn:
“The Liverpool Book Club was inspired by the popularity of the annual Smithdown Litfest, which I established in 2017. Over the past few years the Litfest has welcomed many acclaimed guests such as Ann Cleeves, Jimmy McGovern and Jonathan Harvey. The Liverpool Book Club brings the opportunity to invite even more authors to speak to audiences throughout the city all year round, while the Smithdown Litfest can continue to focus on events in its special part of south Liverpool.”
